The PSR Panel announces appointment of six new members
The PSR has announced the appointment of six new members to its Panel. The new members will join those whose positions have been reappointed, and those whose terms did not come to an end this year.
The PSR Panel was set up in December 2014 and consists of representatives from a wide spectrum of the payments industry. These include: service providers, infrastructure and technology providers, service users including consumer, large and small business representatives. The Panel offers advice on the work of the PSR and identifies ways in which it can help the PSR meet its objectives.
Paul Smith, Head of Policy at the PSR said:
‘The Panel already provides valuable input on the PSR’s policies and practices, so the fresh perspectives from the new members combined with the experience from the continuing members places the Panel in a strong position to challenge and support the PSR in its work.’
